Insulating Glass

Glass gives us great advantages in terms of architectural space in which we live. Glass has no special thermal insulation characteristics, and in place of glass made surfaces problems of heat loss appear. One of the main tasks of modern glass production is the limitation and reduction of emissions of heat and prevention of loss of heat through glazed surface.

The first step is the use of IZO-glass, which improves thermal insulation and reduces heat loss through glass surface. Top thermal insulation characteristics can be achieved IZO-glass with enhanced features within the space between two pieces of glass. The most significant improvement in terms of reducing emissions of heat is produced using low emission Glass LOW-E in the composition with IZO-glass. Low emission glass is characterized by particularly selective oxide layer of molecules placed on the surface of glass that reflects only the thermal radiation. Through low-emission glass we lose less heat because the energy returns to the area from which it originates. Further improvement relates to the use of inert gases in between. Composition IZO-glass replaced with dry air, which achieves greater power, thermal insulation and reduces the coefficient of heat passage. Combination of low emission LOW-E Glass, and use of inert gases in the composition of izo-glass are giving great performance gains. This glass not only to reduces the costs of heating, but is indirectly involved in the protection of the environment to reduce total necessary quantity of energy, and therefore reduce emissions of harmful gases. Top heat and sound insulation is performed IZO three tier glass (sound insulation = 40Db, U = 0.50 W/m2K).

Screenprinting program on glass
